Double Dose of Dough

Life?
So tonight wasn't that bad. I ended up getting a fair amount of stuff done today. School went by pretty smoothly with a fair amount of work, but I was driven to succeed with little blue.

So the main thing on my mind lately is Anna to be completely honest. This girl is super fucking awesome. I feel like a huge creeper for how things ended up going over, but I'm excited by the possibility of being awesome friends, and if possible "dating" or "going out" or what ever you want to call it. I've been talking to her for the past two days and she is by far the most interesting girl I think I've ever met, but with the slight age difference and the lack of physical day to day interaction it may not end up that way. She invited me to see some local live music at a frat party this coming Thursday. She basically stated "if you're down for it, i'm fairly certain i can get you in!" the way I took this is that it was somewhat an exclusive invite. A personal one if you will. I will admit, if she's not into guys I will be fairly devastated.

Other than that, work is work and I'm making some cash. We got slammed hard through out the night, making it hard to think about what to do after work since I was so focused on the tasks at hand.

Even though I didn't get into VCU I have a fairly good back up literally less than half an hour away. I'm going to go to PVCC sometime in the future, but I still have summer to have alot of fun and get my life going. I need to get a car (which I may have found one already), car insurance, a new job (which I am applying for tomorrow) and a new band going (Stapletooth Tigers). I would like to continue playing "Pop-Punk" but it's hard to do that when all the musicians you play with end up playing hardcore power violence. Either way, life will get better and I plan on making it better myself.

I've been talking to Monican alot lately as well. She's pretty interesting. Earlier today we were talking about our days and I ended up talking about not getting into VCU. She brought up how she was really surprised I didn't get into VCU with the majority of stuff in my portfolio. Posted with this is one of my projects.

I also donated some of my art work to the art auction at school. How exciting.

Music
The World/Inferno Friendship Society - 3 Ring Brain & a Circus Heart: Kind of like Red Eyed Soul, but alittle different. Chris sent me the link a few days ago.

Matt & Kim - Grand:Quite possibly one of the poppiest things I listen to but its so damn catchy that I can't stop myself from bopping along to these damn piano progressions with obnoxiously amazing singing.
