Well folks, the end of summer is near and I haven't posted anything. Maxi and I are still together. I'm all set for college after next week. And my mom has been away for over a month now, and is returning tonight.

Last Night
Last night I saw Nailbiter. The new Cville hardcore band consisting of none other than (ex-paper lanterns bassist) Connor Mullins, Taylor Santiago, Peter Banks, and headed by the infamous (ex-paper lanterns drummer) Daniel Russel.

They were good with the exception of Connor fucking up on bass here and there, but it wasn't too noticeable. The sound is sweet and the energy is fast, but the lyrics aren't that great. I feel as if with more practice this band is going places. A link for the demo will later be posted.

Maxi
Maxi and I have been good. She's currently in New York with her family, but I plan on leaving a few gifts for her in her house before she gets back. This kid named Tommy is watching her house and I don't want him to freak out that things aren't as he left them. So, I have to clear it with him that I will be leaving Maxi presents and such.

Yo La Tengo : Fakebook : I have recently been getting into Yo La Tengo. Their progressive acoustic jam hybrid of catchy and meaningful songs got my hooked.

The Minutemen: 3 way tie (for last): this is what happens when you have a few guys get together to play music for fun and end up with the epitome of punk rock. I personally use to hate the minutemen, but after getting drunk and hearing this we shall strike the previous statement from the record.
